Other useful information:
The plaintiff sustained shoulder and spinal injuries as a result of a dog attack. The plaintiff contended that, during the encounter, she restrained the dog, but her right shoulder was shaken and she was dragged on the ground.
The shoulder injury caused the shoulder tendon to become inflamed due to persistent contact with an acromion spur. Surgery was conducted to remove the spur.
Surgeons from Massachusetts General Hospital allegedly concluded that the spurs, which were also found on her cervical spine, were directly related to the dog attack.
The plaintiff participated in a study being conducted by an area doctor as to the physiological cause for tinnitus, and the plaintiff tested positive for tinnitus based upon the study's preliminary findings.
